The Kingdom of Pontus was located in Northern Anatolia, in what is now Turkey. Mithridates VI was the last king of the Kingdom of Pontus, and he ruled from 120 BC to 63 BC. He was a great military leader and a successful conqueror, and he expanded the Kingdom of Pontus to include much of Anatolia, as well as parts of the Caucasus and the Middle East.
