George Michael Dolenz Jr., better known as Micky Dolenz, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and television director. He is best known as a member of the Monkees, a pop rock band formed in 1965 for the American television series of the same name. Dolenz was the lead singer on many of the Monkees' biggest hits, including "Last Train to Clarksville," "I'm a Believer," and "Daydream Believer."
