Moshe Sharett was born in 1894 in Russia, and his father's name was Yaakov Shertok. Sharett was a Zionist and a politician, and he served as the second Prime Minister of Israel from 1953 to 1955. He was also a diplomat, and he served as the first Israeli Ambassador to the United States from 1948 to 1950.
