Moshe Sharett was born in 1894 in the Russian Empire, and later became a politician and diplomat in the British Mandate of Palestine and Israel. He studied at the London School of Economics from 1919 to 1921. In 1921, he returned to Palestine and became involved in the Zionist movement. He served as the Prime Minister of Israel from 1953 to 1955.
