Manager of Switzerland, Murat Yakin, is a former Swiss footballer who played as a defender. He began his managerial career in 2006 with FC Thun, and has since managed several other clubs, including FC Basel and Spartak Moscow. Yakin was appointed manager of the Switzerland national team in 2021, and led the team to the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
