Answer
The Bolivian Boliviano is the official currency of Bolivia, and is also used in Oruro. It is divided into 100 centavos. The Boliviano was introduced in 1825, and was originally pegged to the Chilean peso. However, in 1985, the Boliviano was devalued by 1000%, and a new currency, the nuevo boliviano, was introduced. The nuevo boliviano was replaced by the Bolivian Boliviano in 1997.
