Otto IV was the Holy Roman Emperor from 1209 until his death in 1218. He was the son of King Henry VI of Germany and Constance of Sicily. Otto IV spent most of his early life in England and France. He was educated in England and then spent several years in France, where he was raised by King Philip Augustus.
