Answer
St. Pio of Pietrelcina is the full saintly title of Padre Pio. He was an Italian priest and friar who lived from 1887 to 1968. He was a member of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin and was known for his stigmata, which were wounds that resembled the crucifixion wounds of Jesus Christ. He was canonized as a saint by Pope John Paul II in 2002.
