Paul Revere passed away on May 10, 1818. He was a silversmith, engraver, and patriot who played a key role in the American Revolution. He is best known for his midnight ride to warn the colonists of the approaching British troops on April 18, 1775. Revere was also a member of the Sons of Liberty and the Massachusetts Committee of Safety.
