Pehr Evind Svinhufvud was an active politician in Finland during the 1930s and 1940s. He was a member of the National Coalition Party and served as Prime Minister of Finland from 1930 to 1931 and again from 1939 to 1940. He also served as President of Finland from 1931 to 1937. During his time in office, Svinhufvud was a strong advocate for Finnish independence and sovereignty.
