Perpessicius (1898-1971) was a Romanian literary critic and scholar who devoted much of his career to the study of the work of Mihai Eminescu, Romania's national poet. Perpessicius was a prolific writer and published over 50 books and hundreds of articles on Eminescu's life and work. He also edited several editions of Eminescu's poetry and prose.
