Primo Carnera was an Italian heavyweight boxer and professional wrestler. He was known as the "Ambling Alp" and "the Strongest Man in the World". Carnera won the world heavyweight championship in 1933, but was defeated in a rematch by Jack Sharkey the following year. After retiring from boxing in 1937, Carnera became a professional wrestler. He wrestled until 1946, when he retired from the sport.
