Cambridge University was Vaughan Williams's alma mater. He enrolled in the Royal College of Music in 1890, where he studied composition with Hubert Parry and Charles Villiers Stanford. In 1892, he matriculated at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he studied music with Charles Wood and graduated in 1894.
