Ray Emery was born on September 28, 1982. He was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 11 seasons. Emery was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the fourth round, 99th overall, of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Senators in 2003 and played for the team until 2008.
