English. John Doubleday's wife, Hannah, was born in England in 1607. She married John in 1630 and they had eight children together. The family emigrated to America in 1635 and settled in Massachusetts. Hannah was a devout Puritan and was a member of the First Church of Boston. She died in 1670 at the age of 63.
