Prince George was the fourth son of King George V, the British monarch from 1910 to 1936. He was born in 1892 and died in 1922, and was known as Prince George, Duke of Kent. He was a naval officer and served in World War I. He was also a patron of the arts and a supporter of the Boy Scouts.
