Szmuel Gelbfisz was the birth name of Samuel Goldwyn. He was born in Warsaw, Poland on January 12, 1882. He was a Polish-born American film producer, studio executive, and co-founder of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Goldwyn was known for his frugality and his trademark phrase "Include me out". He died in Beverly Hills, California on January 24, 1974.
