Sarina Wiegman retired from playing football in 2003 after a 15-year career. She was a defender and midfielder for clubs in the Netherlands and Sweden, and she also played for the Dutch national team. After retiring from playing, she became a coach and has led the Netherlands women's national team to the 2017 European Championship and the 2019 World Cup.
