Sadashivrao Bhau was the 8th Peshwa of the Maratha Empire. He led the Maratha forces in the Third Battle of Panipat in 1760 against the Afghan invaders led by Ahmad Shah Abdali. The Marathas were victorious in this battle and drove away the Afghans. However, Sadashivrao Bhau was killed in the battle.
