Catherine of Austria was the third wife of Sigismund II Augustus, the last king of the Jagiellonian dynasty in Poland. She was the daughter of Emperor Ferdinand I of Habsburg and Anna of Bohemia and Hungary. Catherine and Sigismund married in 1543, and she became queen consort of Poland. Their marriage was childless, and Catherine died in 1572.
