Sundin retired from professional hockey in 2009 after a successful 18-year career. He played for the Quebec Nordiques, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Vancouver Canucks, amassing 1,349 points in 1,346 games. Sundin was a seven-time NHL All-Star and won the Hart Trophy as the league's most valuable player in 1994. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012.
