Ingrida Šimonytė first won a seat in Parliament in 2016. She is a Lithuanian politician who has served as Prime Minister of Lithuania since 2020. She is the first woman to hold this position. Šimonytė is a member of the Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats party. She previously served as Minister of Finance from 2009 to 2012.
