Swa Saw Ke was a king of Ava, a city in present-day Myanmar. He was the son of Bayinnaung, who had conquered much of Southeast Asia. After Bayinnaung's death, Swa Saw Ke fought a series of wars with the kingdom of Pegu, which was located to the south of Ava. Pegu was a powerful kingdom, and Swa Saw Ke was unable to conquer it.
