Queen Ingrid was the successor to Maud of Wales. She was born in 1889 and married the future King of Norway, Haakon VII, in 1905. They had three children together, including the future King Olaf V of Norway. Ingrid was a popular queen and was known for her work with the Red Cross. She died in 1954 at the age of 65.
