Amedeo Amadei is considered to be the 7th King of Rome. He was born in 1845 and was the son of King Victor Emmanuel II and Queen Maria Adelaide of Austria. He ascended to the throne in 1861, after his father's death. He ruled for only two years before he abdicated in favor of his son, Umberto I. Amedeo Amadei died in 1890.
