Metalurh Donetsk was the Ukrainian club where Jordi Cruyff played. The Dutch midfielder, son of legendary Johan Cruyff, joined the Donetsk-based team in 2009 after a successful spell with Valletta in Malta. Cruyff spent two seasons with Metalurh, making over 50 appearances and scoring several goals. He helped the club finish in the top half of the Ukrainian Premier League and reach the semi-finals of the Ukrainian Cup in 2010.
