Tony Evers is the 46th governor of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has served since January 2019. Evers was born in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in political science. He worked as a teacher and union leader before being elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1993.
