Answer
Pridi Banomyong's ashes were brought back to Thailand in 1986, 33 years after his death in exile in China. The decision to bring his remains home was made by Prime Minister Prem Tinsulanonda in order to heal the rift that had been caused by his ouster from power in 1947. The remains were interred in a mausoleum at Wat Bowonniwet Vihara in Bangkok, where they remain today.
