Aline Chrétien, who was born in 1938, is the wife of the 20th Prime Minister of Canada, Jean Chrétien. She was trained as a pianist, and is a passionate music lover. She has been a long-time supporter of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's (CBC) Radio 2, which broadcasts classical music, and has also served as a trustee of the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
