Thornton Chase was a seeker in religion before he converted to the Baháʼí Faith. He was raised as a Methodist, but he was not satisfied with his faith and he sought out other religions. He studied Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam, but he did not find any of these religions to be satisfying. He eventually found the Baháʼí Faith and he was immediately drawn to it.
