Josef Jakobs (14 July 1898 – 21 July 1941) was a German spy who was captured in Britain during World War II. He was the only spy to land on British soil during the war, and his capture was a major embarrassment for the British government. Jakobs was captured on 19 July 1941 when his plane was forced to land in Scotland due to engine trouble.
