Answer
Ladislaus the Posthumous was the son of King Louis the Great of Hungary and Elizabeth of Luxembourg. Ladislaus was born in Buda after his father's death in 1382, and his mother became regent of Hungary. However, she was deposed by the powerful nobleman Sigismund of Luxemburg in 1387. Ladislaus was then taken to Bohemia, where he was raised by his uncle, King Wenceslaus IV.
