Answer
Spitalfields is a district of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, east London, England. It is situated in the East End, on the north bank of the River Lea, approximately 2 miles (3 km) east of the City of London. The district was once known for its Huguenot silk weaving industry, and the 19th-century Jewish community who settled in the area after fleeing persecution in Central and Eastern Europe.
