Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is the Director-General of the World Trade Organization. She is a Nigerian economist and development expert who previously served as the Finance Minister of Nigeria and as the Managing Director of the World Bank. Okonjo-Iweala was elected as Director-General of the WTO in October 2021, becoming the first woman and the first African to hold the position.
