Answer
The United Soccer Leagues (USL) is a professional soccer league system in the United States and Canada. It is the second-tier professional league in the American soccer pyramid, below Major League Soccer (MLS) and above the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA). The USL was founded in 1986 as the Western Soccer League and has since expanded to include three divisions: the USL Championship, USL League One, and USL League Two.
