Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India is the birthplace of Annadurai, the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Annadurai was born in a village called Kaveripakkam on September 15, 1909. He was the son of a poor farmer and his mother was a housewife. Annadurai was a brilliant student and he excelled in his studies. He completed his education at the Presidency College in Madras.
