Yitzhak Rabin was born in Jerusalem, Israel. He was a prominent Israeli politician who served as Prime Minister of Israel twice, from 1974 to 1977 and again from 1992 to 1995. He was also a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Rabin was a leading figure in the Israeli Labor Party and was a strong advocate for peace with the Palestinians. He was assassinated by a right-wing Israeli extremist in 1995.
