Constantius II died in Mopsuestia, a city in Cilicia, Turkey. He was the Roman Emperor from 337 to 361, and his reign was marked by conflict with the Roman usurper Magnentius. Constantius II died of a stroke in 361, and was succeeded by his cousin Julian.
