Edgar Rentería is a former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals, Florida Marlins, Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants, and Miami Marlins. He was a two-time World Series champion, winning with the Cardinals in 2006 and the Marlins in 2003. He was also a five-time All-Star and won the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 2000.
