Mohammad Shah Qajar was the second Shah of the Qajar dynasty of Persia. He succeeded his father, Fath-Ali Shah Qajar, in 1834. Mohammad Shah Qajar was a weak and indecisive ruler, and his reign was marked by political instability and economic decline. He was eventually deposed by his son, Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, in 1848.
