Lij Iyasu was buried in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. He was the son of Emperor Menelik II and Empress Taitu Betul. He ruled Ethiopia from 1913 to 1916, but was deposed by his cousin, Tafari Makonnen, who later became Emperor Haile Selassie. Iyasu was buried in a small cemetery near the church of Our Lady of Zion in Addis Ababa.
