Khaleda Zia was the leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, a right-wing political party in Bangladesh. She was the Prime Minister of Bangladesh from 1991 to 1996 and again from 2001 to 2006. She is the widow of Ziaur Rahman, the founder of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and the second President of Bangladesh.
