Colonel Martha McSally is a retired United States Air Force officer who achieved the rank of Colonel. She was the first woman to fly a combat mission in an F-15E Strike Eagle and the first woman to command a fighter squadron in combat. McSally served in the Air Force for 26 years, flying over 320 combat hours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
