Nikola Pašić served as Prime Minister of Serbia for five times, from 1891 to 1892, 1904 to 1906, 1912 to 1918, 1921 to 1924 and 1924 to 1926. He was one of the most important Serbian politicians of the 19th and 20th centuries. He was a key figure in the Serbian struggle for independence from the Ottoman Empire and in the creation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
