Answer
Mosaddegh was a Iranian politician who served as Prime Minister of Iran for one term from 1951 to 1953. He was a nationalist who opposed the British control of Iran's oil industry and nationalised the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. This led to the Iranian Oil Crisis of 1951-1953 and the CIA-backed coup d'état that overthrew him.
