Moshe Sharett was born in Cherson, Ukraine. He was a Zionist leader and politician who served as the third Prime Minister of Israel from 1954 to 1955. He was also a member of the Knesset and the Jewish Agency Executive. Sharett was a key figure in the Israeli independence movement and a strong advocate for peace with the Arab world. He died in 1965.
