Peter Thomas Ratajczyk was the original name of Peter Steele. He was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was the bassist and vocalist of the heavy metal band Type O Negative. He was also the founder of the bands Carnivore and Fallout. Steele was known for his dark and gothic image, as well as his baritone voice. He died of heart failure on April 14, 2010.
