Valentinian I was born in 321 AD. He was a Roman emperor from 364 to 375 AD. He was the younger brother of Valens, and they ruled the Roman Empire jointly from 364 to 375 AD. After Valens was killed in the Battle of Adrianople in 378 AD, Valentinian became the sole ruler of the Western Roman Empire.
