Answer
The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat in 1994 for their efforts to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The award was given in recognition of the Oslo Accords, which were signed in 1993 and established a framework for peace between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Rabin was assassinated in 1995 by a right-wing Israeli extremist who opposed the Oslo Accords.
