Ahmed II (1643-1695) was the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1691 to 1695. He was the son of Sultan Ibrahim and Kösem Sultan. Ahmed II's reign was marked by the Ottoman defeat in the Great Turkish War (1683-1699) and the loss of Hungary, Transylvania, and Morea. He was succeeded by his son Mustafa II.
